Cute Small Car From Nissan "Micra"...!!!!!!!

Hi all…!!!!!!! Let’s all welcome the new small car from Nissan to the world of small cars particularly in India. This small car poses a big competition to the entire small car manufacturer like Maruti, Hyndai and Ford. Now let us see something about the car.

The car features an incredible engine that churns out all the power and muscle. It isn't as bad as it seems though, especially when you start the engine and get driving. Under the Micra's cute hood is an 1198cc three-cylinder petrol engine that has sound pedigree on paper - 76PS @ 6000rpm and 104Nm @ 4000rpm. Nissan has done a good job with tuning the engine and has matched it well with the 5 speed manual gearbox to make the Micra peppy and very drivable.

Speaking of variants though, the Micra will be available in three. Starting off the range will be the base XE variant and when we say base, that's exactly what we mean. Next in line is the XL which slots between the XE and the top-of-the-line XV variants. This one comes with power windows front and rear, a nice music system, remote keyless entry and even includes a tachometer. The XV though, quite naturally comes loaded with goodies - intelligent key with push button ignition, fog lamps, climate control and electrically adjustable mirrors. It also has a front passenger airbag and ABS, EBD and brake assistance - the other two variants just get the driver airbag. All in all, the top variants is what will attract buyers the most, provided of course that it isn't exorbitantly priced, which we hope, for Nissan's sake it isn't!

2010 Guru Sishayan....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Guru Sishayan” is the movie name, which is going to be like the same movie which was taken in early 1990’s. The movie is set in Rajapalayam, where Guru Moorthy (Sathyaraj), referred as 'Kaalu' is a bigwig. A money-lender by profession, Guru is a rich and influential man in the town.
Enters Eeeti (Sundar C). He is an individual with a never care never mind attitude. He is always behind money and is ready to do anything for the currency. He meets Guru and gets close to him. They become buddies. Now comes Mahalakshmi (Saranya). Guru is against her and ensures that her peace of mind is shattered every time.

Cut to past, it is revealed that Guru and Mahalakshmi were happily married and split due to some problems over a suicide in their family. Events take a turn, when Eeeti reveals that he is the younger brother of Mahalakshmi. It leads to interesting events that lead to the reunion of the estranged couple.

Hyundai Verna launched - Price and Specification....!!!!!

Hyundai the auto giant has come with one more super launch of the year. After the successive launch and sales of i10 and i20, the company has step up to capture the sedan market. The hatchback market of the company has made a wonderful and very huge profit for the company. The company hopes to capture the sedan market also with its all new “Verna”.

For starters, and probably the sight that you'll notice the most is the dramatic job performed on the front end. Not only does the Verna Transform get a new pair of headlamps - that themselves are far more stylish than the current set, but it also gets a completely new front bumper as well. The headlights now look more in line with Hyundai's scorcher-of-a-car, the Genesis Coupe which is most definitely a huge improvement on the earlier units that the Verna had. But the headlamp change doesn't garner just visual appeal - Hyundai claims that it also provides better illumination. The front bumper gets a curvier theme with creases that seem to converge to a point behind the license plate - an effect that gets accentuated by the new grille that features body-colour slats running its full width just under the Hyundai logo. Then there is also the cascade mesh air dam and the round fog lamps surrounded by black inserts. Completing the visual changes on the front is the sleek row of LED turn indicators on the wing mirrors. The tail features a new lamp design as well as chrome garnish along with a dual tone redesigned bumper. But the highlight of the rear end has to be the trapezoidal chrome finished exhaust tip.

Verna's transformation ends though with the drive trains being left untampered with. Interested buyers will still get a choice of 1.6 litre petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel engine. The petrol engine puts out 103.2PS @ 5500rpm and 146 Nm of torque that peaks at 3000rpm and finds way into the Verna Transform 1.6 VTVT and 1.6 SX VTVT. The diesel unit makes 110PS @ 4000rpm and 236Nm between 1900 and 2750rpm and is available in three variants - 1.5 CRDi VGT, 1.5 SX CRDi VGT & 1.5 SX VGT (AT). While both petrol variants and the first two mentioned diesel variants are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.5 SX VGT (AT) is coupled to a 4-speed auto’ box.

Here comes the price list of this superb beast. The base petrol Verna Transform remains at Rs 6.55 lakh while the SX VTVT will now go for Rs 7.5 lakh - only Rs 20,000 higher than the older SX. The 1.5 CRDi is now Rs 7.87 lakh and the SX variant on the oil-burner will retail for Rs 8.38 lakh with the manual transmission while the 1.5 SX VGT (AT) is tagged at Rs 9.21 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
